Refund Policy

We want ShiftStep to genuinely help you follow through on a goal that matters to you. If it is not the right fit, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on both the monthly ($9.99) and yearly ($59.99) Premium plans.

1. The 30-day guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the order date. This applies to your first subscription payment and to each renewal charge — a renewal is refundable within 30 days of that renewal's payment date.

2. How to request a refund

Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net using the email address from your order, or contact our support team at billing@areteos.io (or hello@areteos.io) with your order details. You can also reach Paddle's buyer support through the receipt email Paddle sent you.

3. What happens after a refund

Once a refund is processed, your Premium access ends at the end of the current billing period covered by that payment, and your account returns to the free tier. Your goals, plan, and task history stay available on the free tier. If you prefer to leave entirely, you can delete your account from account settings; see our Privacy Notice for how deletion works.

4. Cancelling without a refund

You can cancel your subscription at any time from account settings — you do not need to request a refund to stop future charges. Cancelling stops all future renewals and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

5. Other refunds

If you were charged in error, or a charge does not match your order, contact us at billing@areteos.io and we will work with Paddle to make it right.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record, whose Buyer Terms also apply to your order.
